Sure, we love the beaches in Barbados, but it's still fun to get out and explore. There's a new museum on the island that features tons of statues represent the region's history makers: Marcus Garvey, Usain Bolt, Bob Marley, Allison Hinds, and more. The museum if open Wednesday through Saturday and is located on the southern end of the island in Christ Church Parish.

Barbados has a rich history and has a variety of historical historic buildings & impressive museums. Bridgetown has the most popular Barbados Museum which displays the history of Barbados as well as about the indigenous residents. I have been to Barbados last May, and visited 9 popular museums including Arlington House Museum, Cricket Legends of Barbados Museum, George Washington House, Exchange Museum and Mallalieu Motor Collection & Car Museum. There are many things to do & see in Bridgetown, Christ Church, St James and St Peter. Also, don't miss to visit the Orchid World, St Lawrence Gap and the Barbados Wildlife Reserve.

Barbados offers many exciting sightseeing opportunities, and especially I like the Bridgetown city. You can enjoy the most beautiful, scenic beaches as well as the nightlife, do plenty shopping, enjoy the food and more. Don't miss to taste the fish cake, pepperpot stew, cou-cou and bread pudding with a rum sauce.
