Stockholm is certainly an expensive city. However, if you are wondering about cheap places to eat in Stockholm there are many to choose from that'll cost between 10 euros and 25 euros if you know where to go. Here are some suggestions for dining out in Stockholm: Rakultur, Ciao Ciao, Pontus, the herring stand kiosk at Slussen and Hermans.

Eating out is very expensive in Stockholm especially at Swedish places...while i was there I mostly ate sushi rolls and crisps from grocery store delis as well as pub meals. There are also many kebab shops all over Stockholm, which are reasonably priced, tasty and pretty healthy.

You better be on a budget when visiting Stockholm and be smart. Use the Tunnelbana or T-bana as much as you can and buy a 24-hour or 72-hour pass instead of single-journey tickets. Take advantage of hotel buffets and check out hot dog stands and food halls selling cheap eats like kebabs and pizza slices.
