You can actually find many Mexico cruises that hug the east coast. Most of these cruises leave from Key West and their typical route would be along the Yucatan Peninsula, stopping at Cancun, Playa de Carmel and Cozumel and spend a night or at least a day at the port.
If you plan to cruise Mexico, be sure to remember that all ports and locations will usually ask to see your passport or other identification so, it's a good idea to keep copies of all travel documents with you, as well as on board the ship.
Finally, check with cruise companies directly, as well as travel agencies for travel packages to find cheap Mexico cruises.
