Las Vegas is one of the best places in the world to celebrate Chinese New Year. Of course, it's one of the best places to celebrate anything! Every February, the casinos, resorts and attractions go all out to celebrate the arrival of the new year. Places like the Fremont Street Experience, Bellagio Conservatory, and the Ventian host special events for the Chinese New Year

Do you know about any events in specific? What would you recommend?

Yep, Las Vegas and San Francisco are definitely the best places to celebrate the Chinese new year, I know the Bellagio is hosting a dragon and lion dance on Feb 12 at 6.30 pm, as well as a $500 give away prize to dine at Bellagio’s Tuscany Kitchen.

I heard the waterfall atrium that connects the Venetian and Palazzo resorts is going to host on Feb 25 a huge animatronic snake which will be coiled throughout a massive peach tree decorated with flowers, lanterns and coins. Also, on Feb 9 the Venetian lobby, casino and atrium, ending at the Palazzo will feature drummers, firecrackers and a dragon dance at lunch time.

hey people, I'll be going to Vegas, just booked my tickets. These are dates I was given...most of the cultural performances are scheduled for the Third Street Stage on Feb. 8, Feb. 9 and Feb. 10. The dragon dance will happen on Feb. 8 at 6 pm and right after fireworks will take place on the huge LED display canopy at Fremont Street Experience. The main parade with floats will be starting at 8 am on Feb. 10.

Hasman, How cool...It sounds like you have a very cool weekend coming up. You'll have to come back and tell us all about it. That insider information is really helpful.
