The center of the Corvette universe is in Bowling Green Kentucky. I went earlier this summer and had a blast. I'm not really a car person, but this was cool. I visited the Corvette Museum and save some really rare cars and some neat exhibits. It was a well put together museum...and you also can go on a factory tour, but I didn't bring good enough shoes with me, so I had to skip it. Live and learn...maybe next time.

Bowling Green is pretty easy to get to from both Louisville and Nashville...it's right off of I-65.

I agree with you wanderer, the Corvette museum is awesome and a must stop when in Kentucky if you love cars..there are tons of great cars and if you are particularly into corvettes you will learn great facts. Mind you, it's $10 to get in, and the museum would be even better if they had a test track that would let you drive one of the corvettes!

That would be so cool...I would pay $10 to drive a Corvette around a test track. That would be such a hoot!
