If you didn't know, last month a Cuban embassy opened in Washington D.C. This is great news though I'm skeptical to say the least. Still, too many barriers stand in the way of more meaningful change. It's great though if people can easily travel to Cuba, considering it is only 90 miles off our coast.
The embargo hasn't yet been lifted has it?...it seems to me they're doing things backwards. Common sense would dictate to get rid of the embargo, then open an embassy (or two).
The full address of the Cuban Embassy in DC is 2630 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20009. I do agree with what the last poster said. Let's hope this is a genuine move and the Cuban embassy remains open.
