My partner and I will be vacationing in Cork for the first time but we'd love to take a Dublin day trip if possible while we're in Ireland...what things can we see in just one day, any ideas?

    hi there,

If you are visiting Dublin on a day trip, I would suggest booking yourselves with an organized tour company to get the most out of it.

Having said this, in one day, the downtown area of Dublin is where you need to start. For instance, you can begin at Dublin Castle, where you can tour the castle itself seven days a week.

From there, you can visit the National Library of Ireland, Christ Church Cathedral and a number of other historic landmarks.

Walk or take the bus about ten blocks east to see the Leinster House, the National Museum and the National Gallery of Ireland. A number of other attractions, shops and restaurants can also be enjoyed in the area.

    Hope this helps
