Clinton County for viewing Elk herd
Clinton County is also phenomenal for viewing elk. Just take a drive along Lock Haven on SR 120 west and you can see them. One reason I suggest this route is because it follows the West Branch Susquehanna River, near Hyner View State Park and goes past the Red Hill Fossil Site.
That sounds like a lovely drive, Lord of the Mings. Love your user name. The Sesquehanna River is just gorgeous. Isn't it one of the three rivers that runs into Pittsburgh?
