Explore Devils Tower National Monument

    The impressive monument is a sight to both see and explore. For those who want to keep their feet on the ground, stop in at the visitor's center to see exhibits then head outside where there are about 8 miles of trails around the monument. Hike on your own or take the guided hour and a half walk along with a ranger. For those who prefer to climb, the monument is one of the most popular. Technical climbing is allowed but you must register before and after the climb.

    You didn't mention that Devils Tower was featured prominently in the end of "Close Encounters of the Thrid Kind."
