Fall colors in Nebraska

    If you are thinking what Nebraska maybe like for fall colors, mid October tends to be the peak time, though Nebraska is not a great state for fall colors because there not a lot of native hardwoods. Having said this, places I would suggest to see the fall colors are Schramm Park State Recreation Area and along the Missouri River.

    Early October is the best time to view leaves in Nebraska. I suggest hitting the byways for scenic drives..it's best way to experience the fall colors. Go on the Lewis and Clark Scenic Byway for spectacular views of the Missouri River.
