where are the most famous ski runs in the world located? Does the US have any renowned ski runs?
Europe has its fair of share of famed ski slopes and one of the best places for skiing are the Alps where you will find Chamonix ski resort, which has one of the longest and famous ski runs in the world, Vallee Blanche.
In fact, I believe that the Vallee Blanche run at Chamonix is longer than Alpe d'Huez's Sarenne run, and suitable for intermediate skiers.
The states has its renowned ski areas too and longest ski runs in the world such as Jackson Hole's Rendezvous and the Juggernaut at Killington.
The skiing in Colorado is pretty famous too. You have all those high Rockies peaks. One of the most famous is the Telluride Ski Resort. This old mining town has been transformed into one of the best places to ski in the whole state. Telluride's sister city is Mountain Village, which is just a free gondola ride away right by the slopes.
