Finnair has announced that it will be adding new destinations this summer season (from March 31st to October 26th), which include Antalya (Turkey), Tel Aviv, Palma de Mallorca, Hanoi and St Petersburg. Also, Finnair will increasing domestic flights to Turku and Tampere, as well as long-haul flights to Baltic and Nordic countries, all of which will be served by "Flybe Finland"

that's good to hear especially for US travelers. Hopefully, flights to tel-aviv and ankara will be cheaper when flying thru Finland, rather than london or paris.

I recently flew Finnair from JFK to Helsinki and while Finnair uses modern Airbuses, Finnair has a similar business model to Ryanair where they just keep cutting down costs and increasing fees. You have to pay $50 to reserve any type of seats (window or aisle) and their luggage fee charge is $80.
