Hi all, Planning for a week trip to Cairns, and looking for budget accommodation, the best way to get around, interesting things to do and nice places to eat etc., We have about 5 weeks to go. So any suggestions would be great.Thanks.
Cairns is one of the most populous in Australia. There are many budget accommodation choices available just minutes away from attractions, tours & shopping malls of Cairns. Koala Beach Resort, Cairns Southside International, Cairns New Chalon, Rainbow Inn, Cairns City Sheridan and Cairns Queens Court are some of the low cost but highly neat & convenient hotels. Just visit Cairns Hotels for more details. Cairns has a wide range of transport options for all tastes and budgets. I recommend, better book a taxi. There are plenty of taxis available, so pre book and get around. Cairns has many things to do & see including Great Barrier Reef, Palm Cove, Daintree National Park and Cairns Tropical Zoo. The 1 day tour at Kuranda will take you to dense rainforest, waterfalls and more. Cairns has plenty of restaurants, and some even serve kangaroo, emu, crocodile and local treats. Hope this helps and enjoy.
