I am searching for unbiased info on fishing charters. Things like booking fees, things included on the charter rental, etc, etc.
Also, what kind of fish can we expect to catch there, and is it possible to go fishing in USVI without a boat?

    hi there,

Usually, when booking a US Virgin Islands fishing trip, you will have to put down a 50% deposit. Things like tackle, bait and lunch break are also provided during the trip, but check with them first.

Yes, you can always go fishing in the US Virgin Islands without the boat, as there is plenty of shoreline fishing spots such as Mandahl Beach, where you can toss in a line.

Regarding fish, Tuna, wahoo, and dolphin fish are most abundant during the winter months, but all in all, it really doesn't matter when you decide to visit, as there are plenty of fish in the sea such as mackerel, tarpon, kingfish, and amberjack.
