Hi All! I am a huge football fan and will be visiting London this summer. Though, I don't have a favourite English club, I would love to partake in some stadium tours. What are the best ones you have been to and which ones would you recommend?
Wembley Stadium is London's largest stadium and it's home to the England football team. You should not miss taking a tour of Wembley. the tour takes about 75 minutes and the adult pass costs £16. I did this a couple of years ago and was great. I got to climb the famous 107 sacred Trophy Winner's steps.
I too recommend Wembley as well as Chelsea football club stadium for a tour. The Chelsea Museum is fantastic and you will have the opportunity to take unique photographs and learn about the glorious history of the Blues
You should visit the state-of-the-art Emirates Stadium of course, home to Arsenal Football Club in North London. Stay away from Tottenham.
I wouldn't bother signing up for a group tour...best you go on your own and do the Arsenal and Chelseas stadium tours. you ca easily do both in a day since the stadiums aren't far from each other. The cheapest way is by tube with an oyster card (about an hour). For Arsenal tours click here http://www.arsenal.com/tours and for Chelsea click here http://www.chelseafc.com/stadium-tours
