Gibraltar may be a small place but there are plenty of options for getting around such as on foot since Gibraltar is very pedestrian-friendly. You can also hire mopeds and use taxis, though bus is best. Gibraltar has a great bus network from the airport into the town centre and bus fares are cheap (less than £1 round-trip and £1.60 for an all day pass.

Walking is the best way to see Gibraltar...definitely, avoid driving into Gibraltar or renting a car there because it is difficult to find parking and getting in and out of the Rock by car is a nightmare. If do drive into Gibraltar, I strongly suggest that you park you car on the Spanish side of the frontier and catch the bus.
