Ferry is the way to get to Macau from Hong Kong and you have two three ferry services. The Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) SkyPier Ferry, the Hong Kong Macau Ferry and the China Ferry. If you want to use the SkyPier though, you will have to arrive by plane at Hong Kong International Airport in order to be allowed on it. Also, you will need to arrive at the SkyPier desk 60 minutes before the sailing time or you will not be allowed.

The SkyPier is the most expensive and it's only for transiting tourists only anyways. China Ferry terminal is at 33 Canton Road. The Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal is near the IFC Towers in the Shun Tak Center. The ferry cost is about $50 round trip.

If you plan to go to Macau using the ferry, be advised that the ferry will leave you either at Taipa island or Macau city. You need to get on the right ferry to Macau City if you want to visit the casinos/Macau Attractions. Otherwise, you will need to pay for further transportation to get to Macau City if you arrive at Taipa island
