are there are regular passenger ships from the UK to Australia? If so, how long does it take from the UK, and how much does it cost?

As far as I know there aren't regular passenger ships from the UK sailijng to Australia, apart from occasional round-the-world cruises and regular freighters which take a limited number of passengers.

Cruises to Australia cost around £3000 so if you're looking for a cheaper alternative and are flexible with travel dates go on a cargo ship.

If you travel by regular cargo-ship, the docking point is from Tilbury and the cargo normally sails to either Sydney or Melbourne taking over 30 days.
