I'm going to Slovenia as an exchange student in the January-February period. I am a Cambodian-Indonesian and have no idea about the country, can anyone help me?

Do most people speak English over there, and Is there racism at all? I used to live in Australia for nearly 3 years n racism is kinda rare, so I hope Slovenia would be just as good?

I've been to Slovenia as a backpacker with friends, and I can tell you that Slovenia is a lovely country. Slovenia is a tiny country with little if any diversity so, I would imagine that racism could be an issue just because of this.

I didn't see any racism while I was there with friends, though we experienced animosity ourselves while we were there in the countryside.

I can tell you that Slovenians are friendly so they will probably see you as an oddity, not in a way where they are full of hate, but more that they see you as a curiosity.
