    Hi there,

Planning for a trip to Tennessee, and would like to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Like to know the best time of year to visit to avoid crowds. How about during Spring?

    Thanks for your help!

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is loacted between North Carolina and Tennessee with beautiful streams, rivers, wildlife, waterfalls and a lot more attractions.

As far as I know, June, July and August are the best months to visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Summer begins, so the weather is pleasant for hiking, walking around and to experience the nature. The Spring season from March to May is also good and suitable for outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, biking and white water rafting. Park is open daily year-round, but campgrounds, historic attractions and some centres will be closed during the winter months from mid-November to February. So plan accordingly and enjoy your trip.
