China loves glass bridges, the latest one was just completed on Mount Langya in Hebei, China. The 5,015-square-foot glass walkway is suspended 1,476 feet in the air high over a rocky gorge. The bridge leads to a giant circular viewing platform that can hold up to 200 people. Here's a video.
Glass bridges in China are very popular and the World’s tallest and longest pedestrian glass bridge is located across a deep canyon in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. This Glass Bridge offers a panoramic view of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. It was previously built by wood and has been replaced by a glass one. China has several world famous toursit destinations including The Great Wall of China which is the world's longest wall and this Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge which is the world's longest glass bridge. I have visited China twice and got a chance to visit the The Forbidden City in Beijing which is the largest ancient palatial structure in the world, The Terracotta Army in Xi'an, The Great Wall of China, The Bund in Shanghai and more.
