Montana really comes to live in the spring and summer, especially in Helena. The capital city is an arts capital, especially with the Holter Museum of Art. It has a large collection of contemporary art, and visitors can arrange for gallery talk tours while they're there. The museum is turning 25 this year. Helena also has a carousel with stained-glass art as well as gallery walks and open houses. Very delightful.

    what does Helena offer?

Helena is a great little place to bring up the family and you just won't have to have a ton of money to enjoy a lot of fun stuff like outdoors pursuits because Helena is close to the mountains. I do agree also that Helena is one of the best small arts town in the West and you must check out the Holter Museum of Modern Art, the Archie Bray Foundation, the Cathedral of St. Helena, the Montana Historical Society.

    Helena Pow Wow

hey people, if you happen to be visiting Helena in late summer, be sure to pass by the Last Chance Community Pow-Wow. You'll see there many Indians dressed in their native garments and get to soak native American culture...I think it's one of best Pow Wows in the country!
