Helping Georgia after Hurricane Irma

    You may not hear as much about Georgia, but the state was hit pretty hard by the hurricane. Even up in the mountains...I was in Atlanta during the storm, and it was something. We didn't get any big damage, but lots of my neighbors did.

    Here are some ways to help:

    Donate to the Red Cross, Salvation Army, or a dependable charity of your choice. While gifts of clothes and food may seem helpful (and they're needed), cash is the most flexible.

    Find a fundraiser in your town and help out.

    Pick up a hammer for Habitat for Humanity.
