What's it like to stay at an ice hotel? Have any of you done so? It seems rather chilly to me, but I hear it's quite a wonderful experience. It's not like you an find them at any old place, but there are a few of them out there. I know there's an ice hotel in Quebec and one in Sweden. There could be a few more out there. Do you know where?

I would do it if i had the chance just to see what it must be like. I've heard of these ones:

Hotel kakslauttanen igloo village in Saariselka, Finland
    Snow village in Montreal Canada
Hotel of Ice in Balea Lac, Romania

The Hotel de Glace in Quebec is the only ice hotel on the North American continent. I wrote an article about it a couple of years ago and immediately added to my "must see" places. A hotel actually named ICEHOTEL is located in northern Sweden. Both look mighty impressive. There's also the Snow Hotel in Finland and Igloo Hotel in Norway.

Wow, that sounds totally amazing. I don't really like walking on ice, but this would be really amazing!
