hotels are both within walking distance of the town center.
Iceland is an amazing land....If you go shopping in Iceland, be sure to save your receipts because you can get the taxes (VAT tax) on those purchases refunded to you at the airport. Also, if you are flying into Iceland, you will be arriving at Keflavik International Airport, which is about 30 mins from Reykjavik. The cheapest way to get to Reykjavik is via the flybus, which costs between $15 and $20 one way.
Exploring Iceland’s ‘Golden Circle’, taking a dip in the Blue Lagoon and watching the waterfall of Gullfoss are a must, though you can do other cool stuff in Iceland like whalewatching from ReykjavÃk or HúsavÃk; exploring the volcanic landscapes of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and Westmann Islands.
