what's Indiana like for enjoying a little beach vacation? what are popular places to enjoy the beaches?
Indiana is blessed with lovely beaches so it is a perfect place for enjoying time at the beach. There are also a number of smaller lakes and reservoirs where you can do beachcombing, or simply spend a day in the sun enjoying the great outdoors. Lake, Porter, and LaPorte Counties are the best places to find Indiana beaches, though one of the best have to be the Indiana Dunes State Park, located in Chesterton. This Indiana Dunes State Park is located on a great stretch of Lake Michigan and you'll be able to enjoy miles of hiking trails, picnicking, camping, and views of the Indiana dunes.
It's too cold to swim now, but there are some great places to soak in the views. I've been to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore many times, and it has lovely scenery. I like going to the visitor centers when it's cold. It's a good way to learn about the area's history. And the beach in Michigan City is really great. It's a wide sandy beach with a lighthouse. And after Labor Day, you don't have to pay a penny to visit. I should add that prime swimming season is really July and August. It's cold all other times of the year with a still breeze, but that doesn't mean you won't find cool things to do.
Kerala is the wonderful hill station,it is the amazing place for the travel,it is the best place for the honeymoon,
Just a reminder, that now is a great time to go to the beach in Indiana. I talked to my cousin who works at the zoo in Michigan City, right on the lake. She said it's really nice up there now. We're planning to visit over Labor Day.
