If you enjoy snorkeling, the US Virgin islands is a great spot for snorkeling. Coki Beach and Sapphire Beach are probably the most popular beaches for snorkeling. Saying this, the one drawback about USVI is how expensive it is. Accommodation on average costs around 100 EUR a night, but if you travel in mid-June flights and accommodation is much more reduced.

On my last vacation there I split my time between the Great Cruz Bay Area and Coral Bay, and Great Cruz Bay Area was the nicest spot. The place we stayed at in Great Cruz Bay Area was Morgan Point, which is only 5 mins away from Great Cruz Bay by car.

If you're planning to base in St Thomas, I suggest taking the ferry or hiring a charter for the day to St John as that's where the best snorkeling sites are located. North Shore beaches like Salomon Beach and Honeymoon Beach are absolutely beautiful.
