JetBlue will be cancelling its flight service from Palm Beach International Airport to San Juan as of June 16. According to JetBlue, the reason for cancelling the service is because only 30 percent of Puerto Rican travelers fly to the States through this airport. If you have flights booked after that date, you will be contacted with the option to book on another JetBlue flight or to cancel their reservation and receive a full refund. You will also receive a $50 credit.
so all that money they spent on marketing went down the drain for nothing. I heard the airport spent like $60k in promotions, while Discover Palm Beach County spent a whooping $140k in Puerto Rico doing the same thing. what a waste of money if you ask me.
It seems JetBlue wont do Washington DC but wonder if they will add an additional route from PBIA to the Northeast including Boston and New York
