The folks at LEGOLAND have taken a lesson from Disney World and opened a themed hotel right beside the park. What a treat for families to stay in a room with interactive activities and LEGOLAND decor. Too cool. If you've never visited this park, it's located in Winter Haven which is a little less than an hour's drive from Orlando and Tampa. Take a look at the hotel rooms to see what it's all about.

Reading reviews online, it seems the Lego Hotel is a middle of the road experience for some people. For what I read the hotel is overly expensive and there isn't anything for adults to do in the evenings. to be honest, for $350.00 a night I'd rather go to Vegas and stay at one of the nice hotels there.

Funny you mention Las Vegas because Legoland has a "Miniland Las Vegas" with an incredible recreation of the Las Vegas Strip made entirely out of LEGO, including a miniature wedding chapel, monorails and real life sounds recorded in Las's almost like being in Vegas:)

Everyone has their own experience. What works for some may not work for others. It's a nice place for kids and families can always make a day trip to Orlando or head to Tampa for a visit to Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Lowry Park Zoo, Big Cat Sanctuary, MOSI, and more. Lots to do in Florida!
