    here it's the list

    1. Paris, France
    2. Trinidad, Cuba
    3. Cape Town, South Africa
    4. Riga, Latvia
    5. Zürich, Switzerland
    6. Shanghai, China
    7. Vancouver, Canada
    8. Chicago, USA
    9. Adelaide, Australia
    10. Auckland, New Zealand

It's interesting to see Adelaide ranking in world's top 10 cities to visit in 2014. What do you guys make out of LP's list?

I more or less agree with it, though it's strange LP did not include Rio, which is hosting the World Cup. Here it's more travel ideas for 2014...I sure will be jetting out somewhere warm this year;)

well, this is true about Rio not being on any list, which is truly bizzare. Even Trip Advisor isn't mentioning Rio on their list:

    1. Havana, Cuba

    2. La Fortuna de San Carlos, Costa Rica

    3. Kathmandu, Nepal

    4. Jerusalem, Israel

    5. Cusco, Peru

    6. Ambergris Caye, Belize

    7. Sapporo, Japan

    8. Hanoi, Vietnam

    9. Corralejo, Spain

    10. Fortaleza, Brazil

I never pay attention to any lists because they're bias most times....for instance, the British newspaper (The Guardian) actually placed Iran as number 11 on their "Holiday hotspots: where to go in 2014"-list, just behind Bordeaux in France and Alberta in Canada. But, will you see Iran on LP or TA's lists..nope
