Lonely Planet has recently named Rajasthan fort as the world's most extraordinary hotel. In second place LP named the Planet Baobab mud huts in Botswana. The last hotel is surrounded by 4,000 year old baobab trees. OMG

The Sheraton in Lagos is quite impressive and so it's the Ascher Cliff in Switzerland which is quite literary perched a cliff! I've also heard of underwater hotels and one hotel set up right by a waterfalls. People's ingenuity never ceases to amaze me.
