If you're looking for hiking options within Hudson Valley, check out the Mohonk Mountain House resort. This place is kinda pricey (around $300 a night) but you don't have to be a guest there to enjoy the hiking trails withing their property.Nonguests can purchase a hiking pass to gain access to the property. The pass costs around $21 for a day.

The $21 pass is well worth it! The Mohonk preserve is one of the best places to come during the fall. Absolutely incredible views, and some of the best hikes. Just way too much to see in a day so I recommend at least 2-3 days.
