The National WWII Museum in New Orleans is opening a new permanent exhibition entitled “Road to Tokyo,†which will consist of 10-gallery display covers post-Pearl Harbor events across the Pacific Ocean. Exhibits include oral history kiosks, short films, artifacts and areas that recreate the tropical front.

Great museum! Give yourself a full day there because there are a ton of exhibits (like a submarine battle simulator), short films, reading material to keep you busy. They really did a nice job with this museum.

It's a great place. This post is pretty old but I highly recommend going check it out, it's located on Camp street.
