That price of $80 won't last long, mark my words. Look at the Hampton Inn when it first opened. It used to be a very nice and affordable place, now it's never less than $100.
There was just a study published that said that millennials like to stay in cheap...but nice hotels. There's such a need in the market for lower priced posh places to stay. It does seem like hotels are getting more and more expensive. My poor cousins had to pay well over $100 to stay in a Hampton Inn last fall...and that was in a random little town and a weekday night. I think Hilton might have something with this idea for Hilton hotels.
