The Royal Kona Resort, located on the Big Island, recently launched Voyagers of the Pacific. The Hula show features lessons, a buffet, review, cocktails, and an Imu Ceremony. The sunset review, performed along Kailua Bay, is filled with music, dances, and stories about the first people of Hawaii, plus a Samoan dance with fire and knives! Kids are admitted free when under age 6. Older kids are $41, and adult prices are $88.

Sounds pricey...I don't know if this is the case now but there used to be a free hula show at the Keauhou Shopping Center and Waterfront Row Plaza every Saturday. It's great for the kids to see a hula show or demonstration but not worth spending a lot of $$$ on it.

there is also the Waikiki Beach Hula Show you can go to and you can get free hula lessons at the Royal Hawaiian Center. Performances are given at the hula mound at Kalakaua Ave and Uluniu Ave every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6:30. Get there early to get a good spot!
