If you didn't know, last week New York City opened the first new subway station in 26 years. The new subway stop opened at 34th street and 11th Avenue which is on Manhattan's far west side. The new station extends the No. 7 train 1 1/2 miles past its current last stop in Times Square and will serve the new Hudson Yards project.

New York Subway’s New 7 Train Extension

Can't believe they spent a couple of billion dollars on this, especially after reading that this project was supposed to have two stops. So now it's just a single stop, which is 34th Street-Hudson Yards.I believe the other stop would have been at 41st Street and 10th Avenue.
