I live in Florida, so beautiful beaches are a stone's throw away. If I were planning a trip elsewhere to sample the white sands and crystal blue water, it would be Ocho Rios. I'd be more apt to take a catamaran tour, cycle around the area, and take in sights like the Bob Marley Mausoleum, Dunns River Falls and Seville Heritage Park. What are your favorite things to do in Jamaica?

Dunns River Falls is great fun! The falls and park are very scenic and climbing up the falls is an adventure in itself. First time I did it, I was not sure that I could make it all the way up but the guides do a great job of helping you during the climb to make it to the top for some superb views!

Dunns River Falls is definitely where is at in Ocho Rios. The town of Ocho Rios itself doesn't really have any sights worth seeing to draw you there, but it's worth walking around and along Fern Gully. Go for rafting on the White River and visit Cobaya River and Shaw Park botanical gardens.
