if you want to visit off-strip casinos and don't have a car, there are other options like taking a shuttle, walking or taking a cab. If you are a low roller, I suggest visiting Gold Coast as it has a shuttle and then do Rio and Palms at the same time (you can walk to them). You could also get on a cab and visit South Point or M Resort if you wanted to go just a little further off strip.

Sam's Town casino is worth going to for a bit of gambling off the strip, but if you are staying there, be in the know that it's a $20 cab ride to anywhere. Luckily, Sam's Town has daily shuttles to the strip and Freemont street if you want, which cost much less (like $7).

My favorite Off-Strip hotel to stay in is Orleans but for gambling/playing, eating, etc; I prefer one of the Stations properties (Palace, GVR or Red Rock). For strictly slot playing, I would go to South Point and Eastside Cannery.
