If you're looking for an alternative place to stay, consider an Omaha cabin rental. Granted, this isn't the first place that people look for overnight accommodations in Omaha. Many people think of Omaha hotels when looking for places to stay in Nebraska's biggest cities. Some of the parks are resorts are located just across the Missouri River in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

As you can see in my signature, Omaha is really one of my favorite places to visit. You should check it out!

Really, Omaha is a cool place to visit. Has anyone been there? I'd love to hear from people who've been there too!

    Omaha hotels

I've never stayed in cabin rental in Omaha, but I know there are plenty of hotels in Omaha to choose from...if you're heading to Omaha for a weekend, or short stay I'd suggest staying at the Embassy Suites as they offer free evening drinks, and there's a pool. Omaha isn't very big, so the hotel was fairly close to restaurants and the close to the Old Market area. Also, just across the river is Harrah's Casino Hotel, Ameristar Hotel, Holiday Inn, and Springhill Suites which are all a few minutes drive from downtown Omaha.

Thanks for sharing your suggestions. There are a ton of great places to stay across the river in Iowa. I think I just said that Iowa is cool. ;) I was really surprised how much was going on in Council Bluffs.
