It's a new era for the Orient-Express brand...their new identity is called Belmond. The company operates luxury hotels, trains and river cruises in North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Have you ever stayed in one of their hotels or taken a journey with them? Their new name is a nod to their first hotel in Venice. If you book by June 30, you can save up to 15 percent on bookings.

Belmond? Sounds like a city [Belmar] on the Jersey Shore. Anyways, Orient-Express was due for a change because the whole Orient-Express sounded too colonial, but Belmond as the new trademark? Not so sure

I wonder why on earth the would rebrand a hotel with such a generic name like Belmond. what set Orient-Express hotels apart from Four Seasons, Fairmont, Peninsula, etc was the name. There's tons of cachet in luxury train travel
