Photographing underwater tips

    Your set-up should be for wide angle and macro photography so bring with you a macro lens in the 100/105 mm range. When shooting, do vary your shooting between wide-angle and macro but do shoot wide on steep wall dives to get some good shots of corals with nice blue backgrounds.

    Definitely, bring strobes and a dome port and slow down your shutter speed for lighter blue backgrounds so that ambient light lights up the background. Your strobes will freeze the subject.
