Guatemala’s rainy season lasts from May to October so you would be travelling during the rainy season.
Fortunately, during the rainy season many of the storms come in the late afternoon or at night, disappearing by the next morning. However, the rainy season’s heaviest downpours can quickly turn the ground to mud in spots and make visits to jungle attractions such as Tikal and El Mirador especially difficult.
If you don’t mind the rain Guatemala’s attractions can still be enjoyed. Have a look at this link for more nformation on what to do in Guatemala: http://www.destination360.com/central-america/guatemala/things-to-do
Hope this helps
