If you didn't know, the Road of the Seven Lakes was completed a few weeks ago so there is no need to rent a four-wheel-drive vehicle to explore the Patagonian Lake District. The road connects San Martín de Los Andes to the mountain village of Villa La Angostura and offers amazing views of lakes, national parks, and waterfalls along the way.

Me and my wife spent a whole day driving along this route and it's definitely worth the trip. Make sure you stop at the towns and every now and then to enjoy the views of the lakes, trees...etc
