Seems like there's been an unusual amount of shark attacks in Maui recently. Does anyone have more information on this?

tiger sharks are known to come close to shore in Maui to feed on the abundance of turtles. I've heard locals say that it's the reason for the unusual shark attacks taking place.

For what i gathered, the young lady who lost an arm was swimming in murky water when the incident happened. It was most likely a tiger shark attack and not a great white. This is why i never swim in murky water when i go to Maui or anywhere because sharks have poor eyesight. In poor visibility, the sharks has no option but to test bite for pretty sure the shark thought the girl was a turtle.

Boy, all this news about this shark attacks in Maui isn't gonna be good for the local economy. To me, they're blowing it out of proportion for not reason as it was an accident. I have always told people that the clearer the water the less likely you are to be attacked by anything!
