It might be a little more crowded on the slopes this winter...but you won't notice it will all the new chairlifts, hotels and other spaces. Vail is adding a bunch of access to its big pass, meaning you can ski its resorts and Kirkwood Meadows in California as well as other resorts. But Vail is just the tip of the iceberg if you will....In Sun Valley, Idaho, a pass also gives access to Sugar Bowl near Lake Tahoe. Many of the resorts are reporting increased bookings and upgrading. What have you seen out there?

it's a no brainier really. In this economy, any kind of discount is well received especially since passes such as the Epic Pass cost something like $700 per person. I'm glad to hear Vail Resorts is giving free access to skiers to other resorts.

Holy cow, I didn't look at the prices for the passes. That's great that you can get a lot for your money, especially if it's that much. Of course, no one goes to Vail looking to save money!
