My partner and I are going this summer to Slovenia and we're looking at the car rental option. How much are we looking at for car rental there and what city offers the most companies?

also, can you give us some advice on driving there? thank:)

    hi there,

Car rental in Slovenia ranges from 55 to 85 euros per day but with unlimited mileage, and Ljubljana offers the most variety of car rental, and you will find a number of major companies such as Avis, Europcar, Hertz, and Budget, although local companies, such as Sixt and Agio are often less expensive.

I would suggest to have an international driver’s license in addition to a personal driver’s license from your home country.

Also, the speed limits in Slovenia range from about 30 miles per hour in urban residential areas to around 80 mph on the expressways.

Wearing seatbelts and using dim headlights are both compulsory throughout the entire country. Should you happen to need repair for your vehicle, the Automobile Association of Slovenia offers 24-hour service.
