Here it's my two cents for solo travelers looking to travel to the Caribbean for either a bit of relaxation, play in the water, partying or sightseeing at your leisure.

I find that Belize is probably the bets place for solo travelers in the Caribbean because it pretty much offers everything a solo traveler could want, which is tons of sightseeing as well as the typical water attractions, nightlife, etc. Belize, has rain forests and Mayan temples, which the other caribbean islands don't really offer.

I agree if you want to be active, Belize is the place to be. if you want peace and relaxation, Turks and Caicos is nice for spending a great week lying in the sun. Vieques would also be very safe and comfortable for solo travel.

if you're a solo traveler who wants peace and quite, I suggest Anguilla island and Antigua. wherever you go, don't stay in an all inclusive resort because you will be hit by a substantial "single supplement".
