If you've been to Germany, you'll find Belgium somewhat similar during Christmas, specially in Antwerp. In Antwerp, during Christmas time, you'll see beautiful Christmas markets where you can shop for original and traditional decorations and traditional specialities like mulled wine and jenevers.

the Main Square in Antwerp will be the focal point where the Christmas stalls will be set up in beautiful wooden huts. The Christmas lights will be set up from Central Station to the Scheldt quays and the Giant Christmas trees in Koningin Astridplein, Handschoenmarkt and Grote Markt.
