There are a couple of ways of getting to Split old town from Split Airport. One of the them is the taxi, which is the most expensive. Taxis charge around 40 euros. The other way is on the airport bus which takes you right the station opposite the ferry terminal in Split. The bus takes 50 minutes but only costs $5. The airport bus is located on the right-hand side as you exist the airport and will have a "Croatia Airlines" logo on the side of the bus.

You can pre book a private transfer if you want someone to wait for you at the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. This will only cost around 35 Euro, for 1-3 persons. Other than the airport bus, there are also a regional bus you can get (bus# 37) to get into the city centre. This bus goes between the airport and Trogir, and you catch it from the main road in front of airport, which is about 150 meter walking from main terminal.

    Split Airport taxi advice

Bus is the cheapest transfer option (4 euros) if you are heading to and/or staying close to the Split Main Bus Station area. if you take a taxi, ask the price before you get into the taxi. I hear so many people complaint about getting ripped-off by taxis when all they have to do is ask the fare price.
