What is the recommended way of seeing Stanley Park, renting a bike or walking the Seawall? This will be our first time in Vancouver. Thanks!

Best way to see Stanley Park is on a bike because you will get to see the whole shoreline, which you can not be done on foot. The bike lanes in Stanley park are nicely organized to keep you from pedestrians and from automobile traffic.

I biked the seawall just last year and had an amazing time doing it. The sea wall is incredibly well done and the views are second to none. Like the last poster said, there is a separate path for bikers and walkers, so won't have to stress about crashing into them (lol). By the way, the seawall runs in one direction only, so once you start, you are committed to bike the whole way around which is 8 miles.

Stanley Park is pretty huge...but I know you're going to love it. If you want to relax, you could see Stanley Park with a horse-drawn carriage or take one of the shuttle buses.
